Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Board Committee

The committee usually meets quarterly or as needed

• The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee will support and engage staff with strategic planning and programmatic initiatives and opportunities to enable structural social change for the benefit of VISIT DENVER, partners and our community. Below is a tentative list of the committees’ proposed 2024 initiatives.
• Four focus areas - input and direction: 
  • Internal policies & practices (staff, vendors, Board)
  • Community affiliations & support
  • Social impact/work force development
  • Marketing efforts including website content - input and direction
• Annual review of DEI commitment statement.
• DEI consultant - staff development updates.
• Sharing of members' success and challenges with DEI and their organization.
