• The innovative 2016 Denver Tourism Roadmap outlined a smart growth strategy to drive tourism demand while enhancing the quality of life for residents. 
• In 2024, there will be an effort to create a redeveloped Roadmap which will require extensive engagement with industry leaders, elected officials, community leaders and residents to realign tourism with the City’s priorities for the future. It will need to connect those individuals and organizations across a more integrated ecosystem that enhances the visitor experience, elevates the destination brand and aligns with important themes related to diversity, community, sustainability, mobility and connectivity.
• The entire board will be engaged in the process throughout 2024. The Steering Committee will:
  • Act as a sounding board for staff when reviewing project plan, management processes and approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • Help identify key stakeholders and community leaders to interview.
  • Review first draft of stakeholder findings and updated plan.
