No summer in Denver is complete without at least one — or two, or five — trips to the awe-inspiring Red Rocks Amphitheatre, just 15 miles from downtown Denver. More than 70 million years in the making, the 9,450-seat venue is flanked by enormous 300-foot red sandstone rock formations and always boasts a star-studded musical schedule.

KlezKolorado is a new, weekend-long Klezmer music festival that celebrates Jewish music, culture and heritage in Colorado. As part of the Mizel Arts and Culture Center’s JAAMM festival, this event includes local and national Klezmer acts, interactive workshops, Yiddish cultural activities and family-friendly activities. The festival is hosted by the Mizel Arts and Culture Center and the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center (JCC Denver). All ages, backgrounds and faiths are welcome.

Five Points Jazz Festival is a free, all-day event held annually in Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood. Once known as the Harlem of the West, Five Points was home to several jazz clubs that played host to many of jazz music's legends, including Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and many more! Along Welton Street, residents and visitors groove to the music while exploring a culturally diverse collection of food, shopping and entertainment.

Denver’s favorite music festival, Underground Music Showcase, returns with an incredible lineup of artists to discover!
In town during the summer but still want to get a peek at the Denver Broncos' famed home stadium? A concert at Empower Field at Mile High might be just the ticket. Big-name acts take to the open-air stage as music carries on the Colorado breeze above the storied gridiron for a concert experience you won't forget.
The City Park Bandstand and Pavilion turns into a swinging, open-air jazz club on Sundays from June to August from 6–8 p.m., as music lovers of all ages congregate for City Park Jazz. Bring a blanket or folding chair — but be prepared to spend plenty of time on your feet, too. City Park Jazz encourages dancing. Best of all, these concerts are free.
Grab a blanket and take a seat on the lawn or buy a reserved seat at this beautiful venue just south of Denver in Greenwood Village. Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre has a variety of acts coming up this spring and summer.
The Levitt Pavilion is a state-of-the-art amphitheater in Ruby Hill Park that was created as a gift to the community. This outdoor venue hosts a slew of free concerts every summer, and a few ticketed events, too. Bring a blanket and a picnic, kick back on the lawn and enjoy artists from a wide range of genres.
The Arvada Center's Outdoor Amphitheater offers exceptional acoustics in an intimate setting perfect for enjoying live music featuring national and local artists. The amphitheater features a weather-friendly covered seating area with close-up views of the stage and delicious concessions, including burgers, sandwiches, beer and wine. And on Wednesday evenings from July to September, the Front Porch Series presents local solo and duet musical acts, food and brews in a shady, beer-garden setting on the front plaza.
Denver Botanic Gardens' popular Music at the Gardens series is back! Shows in the UMB Bank Amphitheater feature national, award-winning musicians. Concerts start at 6:30 p.m. at the York Street location. Note: Food is available for purchase at the Gardens, but alcohol is not. You may bring alcohol in its original container to both the Summer Concert Series and Evenings al Fresco.
Every summer, Dick's Sporting Goods Park transforms into a music venue for some of the biggest, jamming-est concerts of the year!
Head to the urban oasis that is Denver Botanic Gardens for Evenings al Fresco on select Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30–8:30 p.m. Unlike a traditional concert setting, visitors strolling through the Gardens encounter small ensembles or musicians performing works designed to underscore and bring delight to their evening visit. Timed tickets must be purchased in advance; tickets are limited in each time slot. Note: Food is available for purchase at the Gardens, but alcohol is not. You may bring alcohol in its original container to both the Summer Concert Series and Evenings al Fresco.
The free Orchard Town Center Summer Concert Series at the Orchard Town Center in Westminster, Colorado, presents five evenings of live music from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. that will have you dancing and singing along.
Head to the free Sounds of Southlands Concert Series in Aurora on select Thursdays from June 20 to August 8, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for live music on Town Square, drinks, food and dancing!
Head to the Swallow Hill Summer Concerts at Four Mile Historic Park on select Wednesday evenings for shows that begin at 6:30 p.m. (doors 5:30 p.m.). This summer tradition has been going on for two decades! Coolers with outside food and drink are allowed, but outside alcohol will be prohibited. There is a full bar will be on-site. Special pricing for Swallow Hill and Four Mile members; half-priced tickets for children ages 4 to 12; children 3 and under are free.
This free eight-concert series is sure to be a highlight of the Highlands Ranch summer! Gather the whole crew and dance to an incredible line-up of bands coming to Highlands Heritage Regional Park (behind the Highlands Ranch Post Office). Bring a chair, a blanket, a picnic meal or money to purchase food truck treats and enjoy live music while watching the sun set behind the Rocky Mountains. From 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Every August, Central Park hosts Opera on the Green on the South Green from 6 to 8 p.m. Opera on the Green is free to attend. Come early and buy some tasty treats from one of the many food trucks!
Enjoy free outdoor musical performances at Green Valley Ranch Town Center Park, with delicious food from local food trucks available for purchase. Bring your own lawn chair, shade umbrellas and/or blankets and get ready for a good time from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.!
Central Park has not one but TWO outdoor concert venues! Dance 'til you drop or just sit back and relax as some of Denver's most well-known brands hit the stage for Concerts on the Green on the South Green and MoJaBlu Concerts on the North Green. Either way, it's a great way for the whole family to enjoy music under the stars. Concerts on the Green start at 6 p.m. and MoJaBlu concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and both are free to attend. Come early and buy some tasty treats from one of the many food trucks!
The free Sounds Exciting! Summer Concert Series at Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park provides a mid-week escape to an idyllic hillside with sweeping mountain views and dramatic sunsets, local brews, hip food vendor fare and community members of every age and background—all ready to rock! Gates open at 5 p.m.; opener begins at 6:15 p.m.; and headliner begins at 7:15 p.m.
The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver hosts a live music series on Friday nights in July and August where Colorado musicians perform in MCA Denver’s rooftop garden!
